Do I need to bring anything to class?

You should bring glasses if you wear them for reading, or close work, all equipment and materials are provided for you.

Can I bring my own equipment?

All of the equipment and materials are provided, but if you have favourite needles, scissors, fabrics, or tools that you would like to use, please feel free to bring them with you.

Is there parking at the Sanderson Centre?

There are car parking spaces at the front and rear of the centre, and stort-stay car parking available nearby, at Whites Place.

Is your studio accessible?

The studio doesn't have regular opening times like a shop, due to it's industrial location, but I'm happy to have visitors by appointment! Please be aware that there is uneven ground and steps on your way to the studio, depending on the route you take through the site.

I can only make one of the dates in a course. Can I just come for one class?

Most times this is possible. Please contact me to check in advance, and I will be able to let you know if your request can be accommodated.

I just want to craft by myself, can I use your studio?

Maybe you need table space... Maybe you need to just get away from the chores at home that distract you from your creativity... Maybe you just need some quite time with another creative to help you be accountable... Maybe you just need someone to encourage you, and keep you supplied with tea and snacks so you can focus on your work.

I have autism/ADHD. Is this the right class for me?

I have extensive experience in teaching and working with learners of all ages and abilities in private classes, community workshops, residential homes, and formal education environments. By keeping the class numbers small, I ensure that everyone has the opportunity to ask questions, and receive the attention and assistance they need. Please let me know prior to the class, so I can plan the lesson to make sure your needs are included.

I'm anxious. Is this class for me?

The class is taught in a relaxed style, and numbers are limited to allow for a calm experience, where everyone can receive quality teaching. If you would like to come and visit the studio beforehand, you are welcome to join me for a cup of tea or coffee and a look around.

I can't read/write. Can I come to this class?

Yes! You're very welcome here! This class doesn't involve any essential reading or writing, but you may need to use a ruler and pen or pencil for drawing. Please let me know prior to the class, so I can plan the lesson to make sure your needs are included.

Are the images on your website AI generated?

Images on my website, Etsy shop, and Instagram, are never AI generated or enhanced by filters. They are all taken by me, or a member of my immediate family.
